What is Tele-Health?
Teletherapy, or telepractice as it’s otherwise known, is the online delivery of therapy services via two-way video conferencing. Sessions are nearly identical to traditional therapy sessions save for one major exception. Instead of sitting together in the same room, clients and therapists interact via live video conferencing.
Why DO I pRACtiCE IN THIS WAY?
I believe in access in all forms. Therapy should be available in many different formats and in different ways. We can not all get to one location. Bay Area life can be as complex as our traffic patterns and some times having some flexibility really helps. While I love to see clients in person, I have found that this tool is another way to "meet people where they are" literally and figuratively. I use a secure HIPPA compliant platform and ensure all the regulations and guidelines are followed. If you are interested in this way of practicing. Contact me.
