In Therapy…

For 15+ years I have worked with all types of relationship issues and supported my client aka “the relationship” to heal.

We will work to navigate differences, heal past and current ruptures. You work on developing tools and skills to strengthen communication, agreements, and the “practice” of how you show up in relationships. 

In therapy with me, relationships have:

  • Strengthened communication

  • Increased connection, intimacy and sex. 

  • Developed new ways of being together that work better

  • Explored patterns of conflict styles, attachment styles, trauma responses and other cultural and identity needs

  • Decided to stay together and make it work

  • Decided to part ways in love and respect

  • Healed past betrayals and interrupt patterns getting in their way

  • Opened to new members or formed clear agreements around non monogamy or other relationship patterns

  • Developed skills around conflict resolution and reducing activation and trauma responses

I am a non-judgemental, pragmatic and inclusive practitioner. I work with you to reach your goals and to arrive at wherever you need to go. I do not force any particular model or outcome on you because each relationship is unique and so I work with all the training and experiences that I have to co create the work with you. 

One specific way that I do work, is that I see relationship clients for 75 or 80 min sessions every other week and in the off week for the same amount of time you do intentional work outside of the therapy space with guidance from me. This work is intended to be for the amount of time that is needed to resolve your relationship goals and we assess frequently to check in and see when we are done.
